The Sanderson Centre is kicking off November with Howie Mandel on the first of the

month! Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for more than 30

years, with a career that has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment

industry, including television, film and stage. He currently serves as executive producer

and host of “Deal or No Deal”, has been a judge for ten seasons of NBC’s hit summer

talent competition series, “America’s Got Talent” and was recently seen as a judge on

“America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” Tickets won’t last long for this evening of


Also this month you can catch Bangarra Dance Theatre, one of Australia’s leading

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Performing Arts companies, acclaimed worldwide

for their moving performances, distinctive voice, and authentic story-telling. Led by

Artistic Director Stephen Page, Bangarra’s unique dance technique is forged from over

65,000 years of culture, embodied with contemporary movement. SPIRIT is a powerful

collection of dance stories from Bangarra’s 30-year repertoire.

As we get closer to Christmas, some special shows coming up in November are

Country Christmas with The Walters Family & Special Guest Jim Witter. Join the

thousands of people who make this entertaining show a Christmas Tradition! Family

harmonies, humour, fiddling and well-loved Christmas songs make this an enchanting

holiday concert! Along with Special Guest Star, Jim Witter, a multi-award winning

entertainer, this will be an unforgettable show.

Sanderson is also presenting The Men of Deeps - Christmas In The Mine. Back by

popular demand the Men of the Deeps, Cape Breton’s beloved choral ensemble,

returns for its second Christmas tour. North America’s only coal miners’ choir will

provide its usual audience-winning combination of songs and stories from the mines,

specially written songs by Nova Scotia songwriters, as well as joyous selections for the

festive season. Also coming to Brantford is The Barra MacNeils - An East Coast

Christmas! The Barra MacNeils - An East Coast Christmas is a musical potpourri of

traditional MacNeil family favourites gleaned from Christmas ceilidhs, midnight masses

and the general festive frolic that accompanies each holiday season. With their

captivating vocals, distinctive harmonies and extraordinary musicianship, The Barra

MacNeils inject new life and energy into the sights and sounds of

moment a rousing chorus, then a hauntingly beautiful Gaelic ballad, the next a flurry of

foot-stomping instrumentals, which of course pulls one then another into a step-dancing


We can not forget the little ones entertainment this November! Enjoy Sesame Street

Live with two shows at the Sanderson Centre, as well as Frozen In Time, a show for

the kids that the whole family will enjoy! A show featuring a 3 character cast of the Snow

Queen, the Ice Princess, and their lovable friends. Join them as they go back in time to

tell their story as you sing-a-long with them to all your favourite songs.
