Downtown Brantford in June is the place to be! All the restaurant and shop owners

are eager to meet you and serve you! There is always something new to discover in

Downtown Brantford and this month is loaded with exciting things to see and do.

The YMCA Downtown Brantford is offering a free one month trial. Stop in for a tour

and check out the state of the art facility, one of downtowns newest additions!

Dreamer, The Supertramp Experience will be at the Brantford Convention Centre this

month with an all live eight piece band featuring Emmy Award Winner Phil Naro!

The Sanderson Centre is featuring many performances in June including Denielle

Bassels, Indie-Swing chanteuse Denielle Bassels hails from Toronto ON. Her original

music whimsically weaves a caravan of influences from her childhood and travels

abroad from folk and blues, to Parisian jazz manouche and swing. In 2017 Denielle

released her much anticipated album What About Wool Wishbags which has been

described as “Ella Fitzgerald sipping tea on a rollercoaster with the Mad Hatter”.

Denielle’s voice is as pure and rich as her performance style. She will immerse you

in her tales. Orchestra Breva Presents “Eroica - A Sesquicentennial Tribute to Laura

Secord. Laura Ingersoll Secord’s remarkable and significant contributions to our

country’s history will be recognized in this concert celebration highlighting her heroic

acts and life's journey, illustrated through music significant to her time and

circumstance. Featuring classical musicians, Indigenous artists, local historians and

Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, conducted by Melanie Paul Tanovich.There’s never a

shortage of entertainment in Downtown Brantford!

Not to be missed, Karaoke with the Sandman at Marvelous Lounge, Open Mike with

Trevor, and Live Bands. Also, the First Friday at Grace Gallery. Modo Yoga is offering

National Indigenous Peoples Day - Dancing & Crafts with the Birch Canoe, Baby &
